Not a Godzilla junkie but I enjoy the movie. I was 10. Having 25 more years of existence since then and a little more Godzilla understanding….I can see why people dislike it.
Ultimately it’s just a monster movie set in New York and that is enough for me to enjoy it. Just isn’t that serious to me. Will probably watch it soon actually.
