This is simply another situation of you attempting to sound more enlightened than everyone else.
4-5th grade is essentially when the last people figured it out in school since it was when we all moved to the “big school” from elementary.

Well not just me. A group of us did. We had a roundtable (that school had round tables for lunch) discussion about it and decided it wasn't true.
