Louisiana is too small of a market for a delivery app.

They did fine for a good stretch. But they keep increasing the costs which made it go from an app of convenience to an app of frustration. About a year ago I went to order from the Chinese restaurant restaurant we always get take out from. It was pouring down outside so decided to order on waitr. Our order that is usually $45 was $100 after tip was factored. I canceled the order and called the restaurant and just picked up. The owner said she tells everyone not to order from Waitr if they can help it. She said they had to list the prices higher on the app because of what Waitr charged them. They soon ended their relationship with the app.

We have never gotten into the food delivery app game. I guess we’re too cheap.
