Also... I was not expecting Mothra to show up.
Enjoyed it thoroughly for what it was... a big ole Monster Movie. Well, for the most part.
And hey... Kong now has a pet.

Mothra shows up and everyone forgot that she already appeared and died two movies ago

Same studio is doing both franchises, so I’m wondering if they have the access to the digital data. Use Gollum as a foundation and then just do some CG touchup? Maybe.
