There would be no Easter if it wasn’t for Paul and Constantine. And if it wasn’t for them, we would still have some sort of pagan spring festival to celebrate the vernal equinox and the renewal of plant life for the year… like the Jewish Passover which was a continuation of the earlier Canaanite spring festival.
