Nitkowski just has no personality at all which doesn’t mesh well at all with Gaudin.
Hopefully that is fixed with time, but that was a big complaint from his time with the Rangers too.

C’mon man, Nitowski is no where near as bad as Brian Jordan and his ‘sluddarh’.
