Will Wade made his own bed. Wade did claim in an interview with Jacques Doucet that he thought that there was probably a ceiling for LSU basketball given the nature of facilities and administrative support for men’s basketball. That we could have good role players but LSU wasn’t getting a handful of McDonald’s all -Americans.
Alabama’s recruiting is surprising though even though Alabama is a football school.

LSU is in the top dozen ALL TIME in signing Parade/McDonald's all Americans.
Dale got a lot, but we've signed them after Dale all the way up to Wade.
There's a mantra that swirls around the rant about how LSU can't get the elite players in basketball, and also Wade's not a good coach (check his record). Neither one is true. Also, I'd put our all time team up against anybody.
