I haven't played one but I'm on an Epi FB page and they were raving about it. Probably some good YouTube review vids.

Yes, I've fiddled with it. It's nice.

My son plays it regularly and it's one of his favorites. The switches are solid.

I would buy the Gibson Les Miles: sturdy, well-built, durable, not flashy, but effective.

I've got one of the blueberry burst inspired by 335s and love that thing. I just read a few days ago that Gibson's pushing out more Epi LP models with the Gibson headstocks.

Mostly wondering how they feel and build quality, the pickups and switches are the easiest thing to remedy.
I like the idea of a lightweight Les Paul.
I've watched a couple of reviews of them and nobody said anything bad about these guitars yet. Matter of fact it's all been really good. Even the pickups.
