I picked up that it had a sinister undercurrent but I had no clue because it has never been on my radar. Music is too central to my life to waste time on its most primitive forms. 20th century popular music is a wellspring, it elevated up, and it’s all right there on Spotify. I mean funk and rb from 70-75 alone could keep me busy for months and that’s just one small slice of the great musicianship at our fingertips.
