My first two cars were stick shifts and I do enjoy them but I haven't had one in years. Living in Florida and dealing with traffic takes almost all the fun out of a stick shift.
But there's nothing better than a stick shift with complete power and throttle control during a nice cruise to the beach or up winding roads in the mountains.
My uncle has both a GTO and a Corvette. While I doubt he ever gets rid of the Corvette he might sell the GTO in a few years and I'll definitely be seriously interested.
I enjoy stick shifts but only for roads trips or rural driving. I would still want a car with an automatic transmission for the day to day driving in traffic.
