This is a dumb comment.
I love most of the modern options available these days but no automated transmission provides the same level of control and enjoyment that a manual does. They just don't compare. If you just want to be a passenger (nothing wrong with that as many dont like driving) nothing wrong with an automated transmission.

In the last 5 years, I've noticed more and more trucks having autos. At work, we ship tankers everyday, all day. Sometimes the drivers ask me if they can leave the truck and I load it later. Sure. I get in there to move them and its an automatic. I guess I'm too "old school" and don't see the advantage of an auto in a semi. I like shifting gears I guess. More control.
