The 1% have the power and influence in DC Uniparty politics......and I'm not saying all wealthy people are part of the movement to Fundamentally Transform America, because I know a few wealthy MAGA types but there's no question the Dim Party and the D.C. Uniparty are the parties of the 1% and the credentialed class.

Are those the folks you're addressing?
The "1%" is, by an exceedingly large percentage, first gen US wealth. Folks who earn their own way (aka, first gen wealth) are, in my experience, HIGHLY antipathic to socialism.
So your posit is dubious.
