No, I think they have a ton of talent, and they are having trouble with young guys getting used to the SEC competition. I'm optimistic that they will come around and be a contender for the National Championship.

When a top team plays another top team, as LSU did this past weekend, you expect each team to win one somewhat comfortably and for one game to be a nail-biter. Well, that's what happened. It's concerning that Sunday was more of a pillow-biter than a comfortable win, but we clinch the series on Saturday if we make a play that Milazzo normally makes 9 out of ten times.

That one little thing changes the nature of this conversation, so we are better than most realize, and we have a lot of potential for improvement. Before this season is over our pitching staff is going to be great. Hopefully our hitting can become good.
