do you have so many weeds that it requires spraying the entire yard, or could you get away with spot spray? I always try to spot spray when possible. Use the higher concentration (1/8th tsp per 1 gallon) for spot spray.
To answer your question though, it really depends on your sprayer, pressure, nozzle, etc. (ie high flow nozzle with high pressure is going to spray high volume, etc). No one can really give suggestions without knowing these factors. A constant flow valve and flat fan nozzle are preferred for broadcast applications.
