Russia fighting Nazi Germany did not make Stalin a good guy. Putin may be right on some issues but he is still a murdering tyrant and a product of the KGB.
Ukraine is not ruled by good guys either but their people do not deserve what has happened to them.
Joe Biden wanted to end the war in Afghanistan and that sure as hell doesn’t make him a good guy.
Point is you have to dig into things and look at the motivations. Simple snap judgements based on isolated issues do not mean someone is worthy of support.
Sometimes there are no good guys, just worse ones.
