TOPS only pays a little more than half of tuition
It's estimated by LSU to be around 35k per year for an in-state to live on campus at LSU with housing/meals/transport
TOPS at the highest level is good for about $7600 of that.

This year with a 32 act, 4.7 GPA lsu offered 56k total that is including tops. Not enough to cover 2 years of school

Didn't know room and board jumped that high. I figured you lived close enough to campus that he could still live in the nest with you, or you would tell him to find a job and live in an apartment with friends.

Here is a just a snapshot of my fee bill and this doesnt include fees and credits/scholarships that I wont post.......
Residential Housing $9,800/year North Hall
TOPS Award $7,862/year
Tuition $17,277/year
12 Tiger Meal $2,217.00
Greek Meal $1,438.00
