Milam is an excellent fielder but will need time to adjust to SEC pitching

Let's hope he does soon. It's not fair to him to expect that, but this isn't last year's lineup that could absorb that and let somebody work through it. Eventually, even last year they had to move Kling and Jones out of the everyday lineup. (And I can't remember if Neal had already lost his job before he got hurt, but he went through a really tough stretch against SEC pitching too).

Milam is making contact, it’s just not falling for him. I think he still looks good at the plate. His AB’s look nothing like Kling’s.
