Stop. Comparing Gonzaga and McNeese as basketball programs is like LSU and… well… McNeese in football.
Taking a school no one outside of Louisiana knows exists to the dance in his first year is absolutely insane.

You should stop comparing football to basketball. Southland rival ACU beat 3 seed Texas in 2021, it’s not impossible for Southland Champions to pull upsets. I see what you’re doing though. This was supposed to be the best Southland team of all time right?
