I'm hourly so I don't answer anything until 8am M-F and once 5pm hits, my phone is on silent. I once answered my phone at 8:30 on a Saturday from a number I didn't recognize. It was a field supervisor who needed to play catch up so he worked a few weekends and needed some information that could have waited until Monday, but I decided to be nice and go into the office and get what he needed. Monday, I turn in my time + mileage to and from home and while I got paid for my work time, my mileage reimbursement got denied. Now, I turn my phone off on the weekends.
