Not fully blaming the cyclists but one has to freaking help themselves. Traveling 60mph down a dark country road with an opposing car approaching is not the ideal safe situation for a rider wearing dark clothes. By law they should have a headlight and a tail light so in that regards, yes it is the bicyclist’s fault. Plus you are just a dumb arse not to do whatever you can to babe visible. Now that I think more about it, yes, it is their own damn fault.

Hey man no problem with owning a take. I just used to ride bike taxis in Nola as a side hustle, and I can tell you, for fact, people don’t give a frick if you have on reflective clothing, lights on your rig, etc… they will still try to frick your shite up with a vehicle. I could tell you all the tales. It’s wild how much bikes trigger some drivers.
