The first minimum belief to be Christian is in the name Christian

Christians believe Jesus is the divine unique Son of God first and foremost.

Mormons do not think Jesus is unique. Their language SOUNDS like they believe that but if you really ask them and delve into what they are truly saying, they think that Jesus is “A” Son of God and that good Mormons can approach the same status over time.
