And nothing resembling how Star Wars started out. It was always about good or bad, light vs dark. But now? Such things are arbitrary. It's simply about the lust for POWER

Sometimes I wonder if you're regurgitating things you see without thinking about them. You think Star Wars properties should be recycling the same simple themes over and over again, and never attempting to add any sort of nuance or depth to the universe?

Regardless of the quality of this show and other star wars shows/sequels, like, this is what sounds good to you?

If that had sounded good to George, he'd never have written Empire.

What is being added is vapid derivative trash. It’s C grade fanfic, produced for the purpose of making content. And promoting The Message. While KK continues to self insert in every damn thing Disney.

Hey, The Acolyte trailer did not get ratio’d on the official Star Wars YouTube channel all by itself.

Fans did that.

I for one LOVE when themes of black power are integrated into my Star Wars stories. Such nuance, much depth

If they were adding nuance and depth, they would be producing Very different films and series than what's currently being gurgitated. Basing your themes on 'inclusivity', whilst insultingly trying to convince the main target audience - who are curiously not included - that that's not what you're doing, does not add nuance and depth. And when the crux of your marketing campaign is that the members of that target audience are racist/mysoginist/-ophobic because they aren't buying into it, you're basically marketing to the world that you could care less about the story or what made that story great. You only care about agenda, nuance and depth be damned.
