I’d much rather pay for a mentally handicapped person to get rides to the grocery store to bag groceries (and benefit society, even a little) than pay for a whole lot of other stuff : like a fully able bodied person with 16 kids.

I'd feel a little bit better about how much I pay if I thought it was going to shte like this or being used responsibly. Just a little bit, though.

If the general public just new of 1/4 of the waste in the DOD budget, there'd be marching in the street.
