I havent been here in a couple of weeks, but I was wondering on Lee's status for the bowl game. Is he expected to play any?

He will be ready to play. Whether he does is another story.

With LSU's offense sputtering early, JL will step in and catch fire.

When he's good, he is real good. When bad, real bad.

I think the pressure will be taken off his shoulders and if he enters the game, he will play well.

Lee is our best chance to win the bowl game. He has much more experience with our offense than any other QB. You go with the ones who got you there.

amateures and tenderfoots change horses in midstream.

we should have chged much earlier to no 9- that is miles fault- lee never improved and continued to throw ints in bad situations-you can show all the stats you want to all the other first yr qbs-- it is the pick 6s that were the killer- my god he threw 6 the other way every single game but one and that was miss st.

Were you watching the same games as the rest of us?

I hope the best for the kid. I want him to be the next Bert Jones BUT he's not even in the same neighborhood as Jones right now. I think JJ gives LSU the best chance to win. Let us hope Crowton has worked some serious magic with JJ over the last few weeks.

How the hell does jefferson give us the best chance to win? He was horrible the Ole Miss game and 2nd half of the Ark. game, .....and Ark's defense is PATHETIC. Lee has experience. If he didnt throw pick 6s, he would have had a solid freshman year. Pick 6s are fixable with maturity.

This is true, you just don't how he is going to play. If JJ struggles, Lee will come in.

The "pick 6's" are an anomaly. It's so rare for that to happen. In fact, I've never seen it. All interceptions are bad, but to have them go the other way that many times is uncanny. It really is more bad luck than anything else. Also, and I hate it when people say this, but part of it was the poor tackling by the offensive players. The Alabama one, for instance. That pick was thirty yards down field. There was no excuse for that going the other way.

And for the record, I don't think its a decision. If Lee can play, he's the more capable option at this point. Without ques, he gives us the best chance to win, but Jefferson should always be in on 3rd and short. Not only for the running, but for whatever reason, the short passes are Lee's downfall. Too much clutter or something. Has problems seeing his recievers on the shorter routes.
