There is not a more important metric to a hitter than his ability to get on base.
In baseball, you are given 27 outs. And a hitter’s job is to not be one of those 27 outs.

I’m saying that Klings was very misleading. There are many on this board using this metric though it was obvious that his OBP was pumped up in games against weak competition .

So are you seriously saying that Kling deserves to still be in the lineup just because of his OBP after what you’ve been seeing of him?
