I can get crawfish pretty much anytime I want, even right now because someone I know is a crawfisherman and on the weekends he usually keeps two sacks to bring home to boil.
He puts potatos (well he doesn't put them in with the crawfish, they are done seperate), mushrooms, sausage, a few oranges, several lemons... the whole works. And if you want to drink anything other than what he has its BYOB. I'll bring the things needed to make strawberry short cakes.
Sometimes he will put a pork roast on the grill. He soaks that shite in coke (the drink) and has his own sauce he puts on it, and when he is done, that shite is so tender and good, that I will only eat a few crawfish and tear up the pork roast.
His buddy makes the best jambalaya I ever tasted. He puts a lot of meat in his. Pork, chicken and sausage and knows how to season it just right. But good for you.
