Aside from Saban and (begrudgingly) Sherman, LSU has never in her esteemed history had a more talented General prowling the campus than the great CWW

IMO, Pat Henry is the greatest HC in LSU history based on his body of work in Baton Rouge.

In his first year at LSU (1987), he won a National Championship, 3 SEC titles and earned 2 conference Coach of the Year awards. Henry won 27 national titles, 19 SEC titles, 15 SEC Coach of the Year awards and five National Coach of the Year honors during his 17 seasons at LSU. He would win both the men's and women's National titles in both 1989 and 1990.

At LSU, he produced 37 Olympians, 38 World Championship competitors, 3 Olympic Gold Medalists, and 5 medalists at the World Championships.

Henry is arguably one of the greatest NCAA coaches of all-time as he has the skins to prove it - 37 NC's. Henry has won at every level he's coached.

Hobb, NM (HS) - 5 State Championships
Blinn JUCO - 2 National Championships
LSU - 27 National Titles
A&M - 10 National titles including Mens and Womens Outdoor National Champions with a 3-peat (2009, 2010, 2011)
