Fire Systems Contractors are required to go through extensive training and become licensed by the state.
We pay fees to the State fire marshals office for the company and every person, every year.
Make any changes to personnel, more fees.
We pay fees to have every system approved.
In several cities we also pay fees to the cities.
Then after that if you do any projects over a certain dollar amount you have to go through the contractors board to get certified by them.
Then they charge you a large fee just to renew your license.
After our initial certification by them, the only time we hear from them is our renewal statement in the mail.
Over burdened.
