Many years ago, someone told me Dr. J. Vernon McGee was teaching through the Bible (Numbers 22) and came to the incident where Balaam's donkey spoke to Balaam in a human voice. Then McGee said "It was a miracle in Balaam's day when an arse spoke, and it's a miracle in our day when one keeps quiet." Nuff said.
