Not just the culture but the way the world and the built environment looks. 2004-2024 largely looks, talks, sounds, and acts the same. Really 2010-2024 because by 2010 the smart phone was ubiquitous. Turn of tv news in 2004 and 2024 and truly, nothing has changed in content, mores, delivery.
But 84-04, 64-84, 44-64, 24-44 you might as well be on a different planet.

Totally agreed but what's the reason for everything stalling out?
Society evolving slower in a post 9/11 world? Stronger fiscal fears after 2008? The introduction of social media?
