. Should it be the same, since I have a commander core and not the xt?
Not sure. For some reason, I thought you had the XT. There should be videos on the Core as well.

When you say USB hub, is that a separate component or do you mean a hub on the actual motherboard?
So, the usb header is on the motherboard. Its pins like this:

Notice the bottom right pin is missing. It should be labeled USB1_1 or something.
A cable that has one end like this will plug there:

A hub will look something like this:

This is NZXT brand, but others will be similar. There is a sata power connection at the top. The purple slot goes to the header on the motherboard. The other slots on the hub would connect to something like the iCUE hub and Commander. This is where the software gets the sensor data from the components to show on the software.
This is a more typical hub:

There was a cable coming from the bottom that looked like it had between 6-8 pin slots on it that wasn't plugged into anything, wasn't sure what that was.
I would imagine that this is why it won't show. I think it connects to the commander core.
See this video. I've timestamped where he discusses the cables.
Youtube
ETA: If you keep going, he shows how everything connects to the core. Honestly, this is probably where you need to check.
ETA2: So, the H170I ELITE LCD XT comes with a USB2.0 splitter cable. This guy connects the LCD and the Core to it.
This is a splitter cable:

Thanks man, I really appreciate your help with all of this. Corsair support finally emailed me back, so I'll see what they have to say as well.
Are the USB headers typically at the bottom of the Motherboard?
I'll take a look in my PC again and see what I can see, probably tomorrow. Don't have the energy to mess with it tonight.
I'll look for a splitter cable and see if I can trace that one cable that's not plugged into anything to find out where it goes. There are just so many damn cables, it's confusing.
That NZXT hub is what I actually bought. I wonder if hooking the commander core & LCD, if I can figure out where they're currently plugged in, into that might be worth a shot? Could tell me if a header is bad, right? Although, if I had a bad header or if the commander core wasn't fully set up I'd imagine the AIO fans wouldn't be lit/running at all and/or the LCD wouldn't be displaying the temp, no?
I'll give that vid a watch and see if there are others showing how to install/set up a commander core, then go back into the PC and see if I can determine anything. I'll take some pics if anything stands out or doesn't seem right to me.
Once again, I appreciate the help.![](https://images.tigerdroppings.com/Images/Icons/Iconcheers.gif)
