I remember the explanation, but how the Quantum states of being in 2 places at the same time still baffles me. I guess it did Einstein too, but how does that translate to the crazy eye in the sky stuff, the real time interaction and how does Lord (or whatever) show up in real or 3D hologram on Wade's plane? Or affect its power? I guess it's the same way they can frick with the colliders, but still...
And the whole 'lying' thing as something that totally throws off the aliens. Lying, deception, whatever you want to call it can be found through out all of nature. It's not a specific Human trait, not even close. I guess that's one of my main flaws regarding the basic premise of the story.

Maybe I'm missing something but the whole "lying" thing seemed like a plothole to me. They have these complex interdimensional sophons that were sent across the universe on an advance scouting mission that allow them to monitor, register, see and hear all human activity and even communicate with select humans in real time. Yet somehow they don't realize dishonesty exists in our society until their buddy reads them Little Red Riding Hood? They would have figured out what we are like on day 1 of the sophon arrival and all of the other games and what not would have been moot.
