Find a hobby that can produce income. I do some wood working stuff and the young couples in our hood pay stupid money for the shitty stuff I build.
We do 2 community yard sales a year (spring/fall) and I build flower pots, end tables, floating shelves...easy items to assemble prior to each yard sale. I do not stain or paint and folks pay $30 per flower pot, $100 per end table and $20 per shelf.
I have also built specialty items (writers desk, coffee tables, dinningroom tables) that were requested by others and those too are not painted or stained.
We also travel when we want. We'll drive or fly and spend a day or 2 in a town and explore.
