re: Alcohol Addiction

I was a pill head for about 12 years. One day I woke up after bingeing high doses of Xanax for a few months and felt absolutely nothing. No sadness, no anger, no joy, no pain, nothing. I thought to myself what’s the point of living if I’m going to feel nothing if I don’t stop using. I got my hands on enough Percocet, Xanax and bourbon to make sure it would do the job. I’m so thankful I reached out to someone before I made that final decision. I spent a week in a psych ward and never wanted to feel that way again way again one I got out. I sought out help and work hard everyday to make sure I’m there for my baby girl as she grows up.
