re: Sweden now in NATO

I dislike it because it increases the chances for significant conflict involving nuclear powers, ignores the repeated stated interests of Russia which increases hostility (if you want to mitigate conflict you can’t discount/ignore the concerns of one side), creates security issues where there previously were none which lends this to being a hostile act (almost all of Russian Finnish border has been unguarded for decades whereas now militarization will be brought to each other), and increases US burden for European defense.

This is yet another escalating step to a dangerous security situation that was unnecessary.
