This right here. People claim safety reasons all they want but its all about money. If you fail an inspection you simply DRIVE the vehicle away to the next place or none at all. The idiots with no insurance and fake temporary plates arent worried about inspection stickers anyway.
Just charge me a yearly $20 tax and be done with it. Thats what it amounts to anyway.
