Yeah, I don’t think so. He was a great corner at LSU and in the NFL. And he was appreciated as such. Every time someone makes a list of all time great LSU corners White is on it and usually in the top 5. That’s about where he belongs, 5th. Clearly Patrick Peterson and Tyrann Mathieu were better. There were several who were just as good - Mo Claiborne, Gino Daniels, Jimmy Britt (maybe), Tommy Casanova and Derek Stingley come to mind.

It’s hard to rate Tre White because he was the ultimate shutdown corner. Teams barely threw his way starting his sophomore season.
