I bought LAMR at $89 last year and noticed it’s up 13% this month to $117. Anyone know why it’s popping recently?
I bought it mainly as a dividend stock and liked it is based in Baton Rouge. Any inside information from the locals?

PI lawyer advertising is a cash cow.
I recently thought if I had billions of dollars, I would buy out Lamar and first order of business would be to replace all PI lawyer billboards with non-advertising scenic pictures.

I added it to my MLP focused brokerage account about a year ago. The dividend combined with the growth in stock price have made it a winner. It’s mixed in with several midstream O&G pipelines and leading the pack on a group of good performers.

I’ve had the same fantasy, only I would just put up billboards of people who piss me off and call them a dick.
One person for a five mile stretch.

If I’m being honest, that would be reason enough for me not to invest in a company
