re: What did one of your pets do to make you laugh?

That young setter pup I raised last year was on his second or third hunt ever this past season when we came upon a small pond. We head that way to water the dogs, and as he gets about 20 yards from the bank a killdeer takes off whistling about 2 feet above the water.

His instinct gear kicks into super overdrive, and he fires off like a bullet after it. It looked like he walked on water because he literally made it about halfway across this small pond before physics took over and his feet caught. He looked like a barefoot skier that finally catches the water wrong and slammed himself with about 3 rolls into the tank.
