I take supplements in the morning and at night.
Morning:
Lions Mane Mushroom Powder
L-Theanine
Creatine
Whole food multivitamin (Alive Mens)
Night:
Ashwaghanda (sp?)
5-HTP (give myself breaks though a couple nights a week)
Magnesium
Zinc
This has made me feel much more cognitively sharp and improved mental stamina. Don't get nearly as foggy at the end of the day. Energy levels are better too. The night time routine is just to really help get a deep sleep, which is very impactful on my mind and energy the next day (captain obvious).
I didn't know I wasn't getting good sleep until I bought a sleep tracking exercise watch. This routine (plus a daily 30 minute brisk walk) have really made my sleep improve.
ETA:
I have ADHD, took adderall for years as a youth and through college. It still affects me as a working professional. One trick that really helps me get stuff done when it's time for "heads down" type of work is listening to classical music on my ear buds. No distracting lyrics while also blocking out the outside world. Give that shot.
