I can’t stand Korn, just way too weird for my tastes. I respect them for what a huge innovation their style was, but I don’t enjoy listening to them.
Limp Bizkit is fun party music when you’re drunk, but not meant to be taken seriously. It’s the unpretentious version of Rage Against the Machine.
Slipknot is great music that holds up and was a huge influence on most of the metal being made today.
It’s not like the 2000’s was bereft of good grunge-esque bands: Audioslave, Alter Bridge, Seether, Shinedown, Chevelle, etc. Nu Metal was huge, but far from the only game in town.

Sevendust is another that has held up well. They're still going strong.
