To lead off the movement, You had Fred Durst doing a cover of a George Michael song and dropping an F bomb. We knew our parents and teachers would hate it and not want us to listen to it, so it felt rebellious at the time.

It hasn't aged well because it wasn't good in the first place, that is the worst offender of them all....Limp Bizkit.
Music tastes can change over the years as a 40 year old may not care about the music that they heard when they were 13 years old.
