Exact same. Had a beautiful life. It’s been hard to let go of it, but it’s gone and time to start the rebuild. My kids are grown but still need me, so I can’t do anything too crazy. Get some help with the kids if you need it, us dudes are too proud sometimes to admit the struggle.

Agree with you about the isolation. I was thinking about groups of solo travelers and got some good ideas here.
