Is there too much mma, ufc, pride, etc. on television right now?!? There's always something on spike tv with their show the ultimate fighter and cbs had their little stint w/ kimbo slice on saturday night fights. It just seems like it is always on and there is always a new champion every week. It also feel like it got really popular really fast (I know it has been a round for a while)and now they are going to over-saturate it and milk it for everything til everyone is sick of it

So its "always on" one cable channel that nobody past age 13 watches otherwise mostly in re-runs and was on CBS 2 or 3 times.

It's definitely watering down the market, since a lot of the guys you see in some of these smaller promotions have no business in the ring at the professional level. If you're a fan of MMA, though, you've got to be happy about the huge rise in success.

I really worry about these high school gym fights that are getting more popular. These guys don't have a pot to piss and they're taking some serious injuries.

I love MMA but it has definitely gotten watered down with all the different organizations out there.

IMO the IFL is garbage and so is that crap that Chuck Norris is trying to hype.

It just seems like they throw people in there that have no experience or little exp. (3 months) teach them what a haymaker is and a couple of grappling moves and hope for the best..

Chuck Norris is the shite but his fighting organization is not good at all.

IMO it folded a long time ago

and like someone said earlier, Pride was bought out by the UFC and promptly killed, EliteXC has gone bankrupt also.

I'm waiting for someone to say that "it's not watered down, cuz ESPN hasn't gotten ahold of it yet."
