About 4 or 5 years ago, I was going to travel to Arkansas, and called their state police, because websites about gun laws there were too contradictory to understand. When I finally spoke to their "expert" on the subject, he said it was really up to the local judges how they interpreted the laws, but that I should do the above, or leave my weapon at home.
