What’s sad is there are some interesting and noteworthy contributions, collaborations, conversations, etc. included in his article, but they’re surrounded by so much logical fallacy and/or utter bullshite that they become tainted by association.
And far too many readers eat it up because it’s socially expedient, and because he clearly understands that peppering an article with citations lends the illusion of credibility — even if they don’t actually provide a wisp of support for his alleged conclusions. His source documents, while voluminous, often don’t say what he claims they do. I mean, in some cases it’s not even CLOSE.
You don’t counteract “lies” with more lies. You only degrade the truth further and diminish the importance of real people and events.
