Best Buy's only chance of survival is as a knowledgeable provider of large scale tech, sold at a slight premium, to people out there (there are still many of them) who don't want to buy a dryer or 65 in tv on Amazon.

Maybe they cut back their number of locations, in order to have one or two good ones in each major metro.

They aren't going to survive by cutting further their in-store customer service.

With the path they are on, I could see them spinning off Geek Squad into a new company / selling them off to someone else in a year or so, and everything else going out of business.
