Meh, those things are great for beginners.

OP - just be consistent with feedings. Weigh the flour and water, don't use measuring cups. After the 3rd day or so you should atarta discarding down to match your flour and water input each day. Keep the ratio of remaining starter : flour : water 1:1:1.
