It’s the best way to do it IMO.

Paying a CFI to teach you ground would likely result in an additional few thousand dollars. When you’re already dropping nearly, 20k for the entire process, that extra cost needs to be prevented.

The online ground school is a few hundred dollars and can be completed at the learner’s pace.

As long as the student pilot takes it seriously and doesn’t push it off until the end, it’s a good investment.

I am a lapsed pilot who wants to return to flying, but so much has changed since the last time I was a PIC. I don't know where to begin.
