Delores is awful but Commodus is the first movie character that I remember being physically repulsed by. I'm pretty good at keeping a mental barrier between me and the action going on in a movie, but I wanted to reach through my screen and choke that slimy frick. I legitimately hated Joaquin Phoenix for a few years after that performance because (me being young and dumb) I wasn't really capable of separating the character from the actor playing the part.

I'd go so far as to say it ruined the movie for me the first time I saw it. He was that bad.

So I vote Commodus.
